What age group is this appropriate for?

We welcome all ages to the Sessions. If a participant is under the age of 18 please send us an email as they may need to be joined by an adult depending on their skill set. Contact us, so we can help get you registered.

What skill level do you need to have?

No experience necessary! We will provide you with the support you need to use the basic tools required for the project. We have the table saw covered, so you get to fun with assembly and design! Keep in mind, the more complex the pattern the more experience, speed and patience you are going to need. If you think you will need a helping hand, bring a friend for an extra $25. FYI. You will need to buy a ticket to go along with your Session ticket. Limited space is available.

When can I take my table home or have it delivered?

You can usually pick up your piece or have it delivered the week following the Session once the legs have been attached, finish has cured and the materials invoice has been paid.

What is the cost for delivery?

In Vancouver:

$30 Monday to Friday 9am - 5 pm

$50 After 5 pm and on Weekends

In other areas such as North/West Van, Richmond, New West etc, please send us a request for a delivery quote.

What is the maximum size of the table that I can make during one 8 hour session?

65" Long x 35" Wide.

This allows for enough room for all of the participants! Tables over this size also take longer than 8 hours to make!

*If you want to make a table longer than 65" please get in touch with us to book a private Session.

What does the $225 Session Ticket include?

When you purchase a Session ticket it is for ONE participant and covers the cost of the facilitation and time in the Shop. Material fees are additional and depend on the size of the item that you build and the wood species used.

Can I bring an extra person to the Session?

The answer is YES as long as we have space. Please purchase the Add an Extra Person ticket on EventBrite. Or we can add it to your Material Fee invoice. We need to know in advance if you will be bringing an additional person to the Session. This allows to staff the event properly and to have enough tools and safety equipment for everyone.

What type of Wood is used?

We use rustic reclaimed Pine. Should you like to inquire about other types of wood such as cedar, maple or fir please ask as we may have the supplies to accommodate the request.
